Driving the Science of Blood-Based Tests For Patients With Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Mount Sinai researchers are pushing the borders of the highly promising science of early detection biomarkers through small RNA expression signatures of circulating extracellular vesicles. A new study aims to measure the impact of liquid biopsy compared to the current standard of care—abdominal ultrasound and serum alpha-fetoprotein—for detection of early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma.
