Reena Karani, MD, MHPE, Director of the Institute for Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Board of Medical Examiners, becoming the first woman of color to serve in this role in the organization’s 108-year history.
