Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine Is Playing a Major Role in Mount Sinai’s Redesign of Medical Education
The redesign of the curriculum at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai recognizes the importance of geriatrics and palliative medicine to training a new generation of physicians in the face of a rapidly growing population of older adult and seriously ill patients, coupled with a severe shortage of specialists to treat them.
